Semantic Based Intelligent Search Engine for Quranic Verses’ related Documents

This new semantic-base search engine will overcome the shortcomings of traditional search engines. By combining technologies of Semantic Web, Information Extraction (IE), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and a novel theme-based method, this framework will be able to extract factual knowledge from Quranic Verses' related Documents automatically. Instead of list of document links, results of user’s query returned will be the semantically coherent reports generated intelligently, which can satisfy users greatly.

Piggy Bank: Experience the Semantic Web Inside Your Web Browser

Piggy Bank is a Firefox extension that turns the browser into a mashup platform, by allowing to extract data from different web sites and mix them together.

After introducing and making you familiar with the Piggy Bank, we will see the screen scrapers available in the Piggy Bank especially the Vacancy Guide Screen Scraper.

Elections Organizing Agent (EOA):

The EOA is an agent which completely organizes the elections within the country. What it does is that when the election season approaches in the country, it checks for all the eligible candidates which can take part in the elections and sends messages to them through their agents and asks them whether they are interested in taking part in elections or not.

After receiving replies from the interested candidates, it then ensures their eligibility and approves or disapproves them. It then sorts all the approved candidates according to their areas, unions, and positions for which they have applied for. After that it creates different polls from the sorted data; every poll constitutes of the same level of options (according to the same areas, unions, positions etc.).

Then on the election’s first day, it sends those polls to the every person’s agent around the country which is of the age to take part in voting, as well as it does check the people’s unions to vote in and sends them the polls according to their own areas and unions. Voting lasts for two days.

It receives the replies of the polls from the people’s agents. It then immediately makes results and sends them and the final statistics to all the agents present in the country, as well as to the other agents who are outside the country but have concern with those elections. Anybody can inquire and obtain the details behind those statistics.

That’s how it handles all the elections’ work so easily and elegantly which was so hectic in the early 2000s ;)


Resources needed to make EOA workable:

o Agents to be owned by the every person throughout the country, especially the persons who are eligible to vote.
o All the persons should be familiar with the usage of the agents.
o Agents should have access of the other agents.
o EOA should be programmed well to tackle all the matters.
o And of course all the layers of the SW should be implemented well from URI till the Trust.
